Ku-band Africa beam Satellite Capacity
Satellite Capacity Ku-band East beam is offered by the operator of satellite BELINTERSAT-1. The territories of 41 states of Africa are wholly or partially covered by the BELINTERSAT-1 Ku-band Africa beam. The capacity volume offered is one-three transponders (36 MHz each) whereas it can be adjusted to customers' demands. The start price mentioned below is a maximum per 1 month price while the customer is invited to bid its own stake.

The territories of the following countries are wholly within the coverage area: Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eswatini, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe. The parts of the following countries are also within the coverage area: Algeria (the Saharan territory), Ethiopia (the Central and Western parts), Libya (the South), Morocco (except the extreme North), Namibia (the Central and Northern parts), Sudan (except the North East). The data can be uplinked in the Belintersat Ku-band European beam and downlinked in the Ku-band Africa beam due to the cross-strap funtionality.
The recommended antenna sizes for the operation are 55-85 cm (21,7-33,5 inches). Uplink and downlink polarization type applied: Linear Vertical & Horizontal. The capacity volume offered: one transponder (36 MHz) or more for the needs of establishing a broadcasting platform.
